(ps.: UI might not get highlighted when selected but will still work.)

Welcome to Networking!

Your goal in this game is to Build Networks to satisfy all the Hosts' requests.

How To Play

  • Connect Hosts to Servers with the right color.
  • Use Switches to connect more than one pair together.
  • Hosts send packets to Servers with the correct color.
  • Achieve the lowest cost, time, or packet loss.

Have fun!

I had so much fun with this game but it had a lot of things that could be improved:

the tutorial is a bit overwhelming with the amount of text it dumps on you, and it has some layering issues, I had to restart the level when I put one of the servers under it.

its very hard to tell what mode youre one(wire/switch/delete)

I felt no way to optimize the price beyond fill switches as much as you can, which isnt that difficult.

The whole concept of packet loss was not explained at all and as far as I'm aware its entirely mistakes the network makes before it learns the right paths.

There needs to be a way to reset the stage without leaving and entering it again.

And lastly, nothing stops me from selling all the parts connected to devices that have finished their tasks already to reduce the costs.

Thank you for your feedback!

I wanted to play more with packet loss, like on some levels I wanted to add events such as a switch dies randomly and you cannot edit anything after you start the time and it still needs to complete. So, they are somewhat unused counters now and waiting for more features. :D

Also, more tutorials were on my to-do list but got cut. (With less text on each one)

And the UI is supposed to light up when a tool is selected, it's a bug I think.

I think you found a way to optimize costs. :D I wanted the game to stop letting you editing when time is running and reset the level when stopped.
